The iPhone has an application called Healthcare. It automatically records the number of steps by using sensor equipped in the iPhone. This application displays data accumulated in the Healthcare App, so it is possible to display data before being installed.
It may feel somewhat disgusting but please do not be afraid because iPhone do not wilfully send your data to anywhere.
